The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the UAF strengthen cooperation to protect the integrity of sports

On April 25, a Memorandum on Cooperation and Exchange of Information was signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Football Association to develop cooperation on issues related to countering and preventing the manipulation of sports competitions, protecting the integrity of sports and ethics of sports. The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the UAF seek to strengthen cooperation in the exchange of information on suspicious actions that took place during official sports competitions in order to respond promptly, comprehensively and impartially to such cases. The Parties will coordinate efforts with civil society organisations, government agencies and institutions at the national and international levels aimed to stop the manipulation of official sports competitions, facilitate the exchange of information, best practices and experiences between the National Platform of Sports Integrity and the UAF.
