In order to establish a National Platform on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions (hereinafter – the National Platform) in accordance with the provisions of the Macolin Convention, by the Order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports dated by 10.02.2021 No. 426 a Preparatory Working Group on developing the concept and provisions for the National Platform on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions was established with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Police, National Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Ukrainian Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, NOC of Ukraine and UAF.

In 2021, several meetings of the Working Group were held, during which working issues of the future National Platform and the draft of its regulations were elaborated; areas of interaction with other state bodies, sports organizations, and the private sector to ensure the effective implementation of the provisions of the Macolin Convention were defined.

The composition and provisions of the interdepartmental working group “National Platform of Sports Integrity” – a consultative and advisory body under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine to coordinate issues related to combating the manipulation of sports competitions – was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine of 22.09.2022 No. 3567.
