Young football players participated in an educational event on sports integrity
On January 30, the National Platform of Sports Integrity, with the support of the Piddubny Olympic College, held a training seminar for young football players. The event was attended by students from the college's football unit.

A member of the National Platform and representative of the NGO "Play Fair," Sviatoslav Syrota, explained to athletes how to recognize manipulation in sports competitions and emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of fair play. He also highlighted the necessity of reporting any violations in sports.

A representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and member of the National Platform, Denys Polubinskyi, presented the activities of the National Platform and shared the latest international statistics on combating match-fixing. He noted that football remains the number one sport in terms of detected manipulations in 2024. Special attention was given to the work of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football, which focuses on education and combating integrity violations in Ukrainian football.

The seminar brought together over 150 young football players, along with their coaches and club managers. The event helped raise awareness among young athletes about the importance of sports integrity and responsible behavior on their path to a successful career.
