The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the All-Ukrainian Association of Mass Football signed a memorandum of cooperation to combat manipulation in sports

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Association of Mass Football ‘SOCCER UKRAINE’ have signed a memorandum of cooperation to combat the manipulation of sports competitions. Under the terms of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate and exchange information on preventing the manipulation of sports competitions, conduct joint activities to promote the principles of integrity in sports and involve a wider range of representatives of the sports movement and the public in the fight against violations of the principles of fair play.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzeyt, noted that the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with a non-governmental organisation that actively develops grassroots football is an important step in ensuring a fair and transparent sports environment in Ukraine. He also called on other sports organisations to join the fight against the manipulation of sports competitions and ensure compliance with the principles of fair play.
