On 28–30 September 2026, a series of an international workshops were held in Frankfurt am Main within the framework of the “Integrity Atlas – Integrity and Values Atlas in the Neighbourhood Region” project, implemented under the European “Erasmus+” programme.

Ukraine was represented at the event by a delegation comprising representatives of the National Platform for Sports Integrity — Andrii Davydenko, Head of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football, and Denys Polubinskyi, Expert of the National Platform — as well as representatives of national sports federations: Nataliia Menzheha, Executive Secretary of the Curling Federation of Ukraine; Iryna Arkhitska, Secretary General of the Ukrainian Rugby Association; and Andrii Hryshchenko, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Esports Federation.

The training programme was organised by the European Olympic Academy and held at the Olympic Sports Centre in Frankfurt. In addition to the Ukrainian participants, representatives of the National Olympic Committee and sports organisations of the Republic of Moldova also took part in the event.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about approaches to developing a culture of integrity in sport, present their own experience and practices, and discuss current challenges and possible ways to address them. During the two-day training programme, practical workshops and discussions were held on such topics as good governance, prevention of manipulation of sports competitions, prevention of violence in sport, and safety and safeguarding, as well as on the organisation of work and approaches applied by the German side in these areas. The participants also had the opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by sports organisations in Ukraine and Moldova and possible approaches to addressing them.

For the Ukrainian side, participation in the event provided an opportunity to familiarise itself with European practices and discuss tools that could be used in further work.
“For the National Platform for Sports Integrity, it is important not only to respond to possible violations, but also to systematically strengthen the preventive component and help sports organisations develop an internal culture of integrity. This culture should encompass not only efforts to prevent manipulation of sports competitions, but also the creation of a safe sporting environment protected from all forms of violence,” representatives of the National Platform for Sports Integrity noted.

The knowledge and practical outcomes gained during the training will be used by the National Platform for Sports Integrity of Ukraine in its further educational, preventive and methodological work with representatives of national sports federations.
The “Integrity Atlas – Integrity and Values Atlas in the Neighbourhood Region” project is implemented with the support of the “Erasmus+” Sport programme and brings together, in partnership, the National Olympic Committees of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO), the European Olympic Academy (EOA), and the State University of Moldova.
The project aims to promote integrity as a fundamental value of sport, facilitate the exchange of best practices, and strengthen the capacity of sports organisations in the countries of the region.
