On the road to the Olympics: a series of educational seminars on sports integrity for winter sports athletes

On October 27, 2025, as part of the preparations for the Winter Olympic Games, the third educational seminar of the National Platform of Sport Integrity in was held for representatives of winter sports.
This time, athletes and coaches from biathlon, ski jumping, freestyle skiing, short track speed skating, figure skating, skeleton, and luge took part in the event.

In her speech, Nataliia Radchuk, Secretary of the National Platform of Sports Integrity, emphasized that systematic educational work is an integral part of the Ukrainian national teams' preparation for major international competitions. She noted that knowledge of integrity and the legal norms governing the issue of manipulation in sport protect athletes from challenges that could ruin their sporting careers.
During the seminar, athletes and coaches had the opportunity to discuss real-life examples of manipulation of sports competition results, learn about algorithms for responding to offers of undue advantage, and the risks associated with sports betting.

In addition, experts of the National Platform presented participants with tools and practical advice on preventing manipulation in the sporting environment.
The third and final seminar was the next stage in a series of educational events for national teams as part of their preparations for the XXV Winter Olympic Games. The event confirmed that integrity is not only a value but also the foundation of the future of Ukrainian sport, built on fair play.
