On October 17, the National Platform of Sports Integrity held the second in a series of online seminars dedicated to combating manipulation in sport. The event was organized for representatives of Ukraine's national biathlon and snowboarding teams as part of their preparations for the XXV Olympic Winter Games in 2026.
The seminar was attended by athletes, coaches, and representatives of federations, who received up-to-date information on the key risks of integrity violations in modern sports and practical recommendations on how to prevent them.

The speakers at the event were Natalia Radchuk, secretary of the National Platform, expert Andriy Nekrutov, and Svyatoslav Syrota, head of the public organization "Play Fair".
In their speeches, they focused on the challenges that may arise when participating in international competitions, in particular the risks associated with illegal betting, attempts at outside influence, and manipulation of results. Separately, examples of typical schemes through which athletes or teams can be drawn into dishonest practices — even unconsciously — were considered.

This seminar was part of the National Sports Integrity Platform's systematic work aimed at fostering a culture of fair play in Ukraine — an environment where sporting results are determined by skill, effort, and strength of spirit, rather than external interference or manipulation.
